I checked the Bells Acres web site and saw that the day fee for single men has gone up from $25 a visit to $40 a visit in the winter and to $50 a day for the summer. This is beyond what I want to pay so, most likely I wont be back. So single men are still welcome but the want to fleece us .

If their attendance suffers from this than maybe they'll re-think it.

I mean, in all fairness, they are hopefully needing/using the extra fees to increase their sanitation, facility-hygiene, which costs money. Owning and running a business nowadays is just more expensive, period.

Paradise Valley took their single fees WAY up over the last few years. I've not heard if they are suffering at all, but I certainly haven't been back.

I was one of the original members of Bell Acres back in the 80's when Even & Polly Bell started it I use to talk to him about starting a nudist camp after I retired he said don't do it the cost is overwhelming . I remember ground fees were $200. a year in fact I remember Hidden Valley daily fees were $15. inflation and daily cost of running them no doubt expense . if ok with gay the rivers edge is only $12. weekdays and $18 . weekends

It's pretty common. While many single men simply are looking for a place to relax there are some who are looking for other things and use resorts to try to find those things. The major down side to charging single men more than women is there is inequality. My wife and I both feel that this sends the message that the single men are paying for a show and it attracts the wrong type of crowd. For this reason I no longer attend most nudist resorts even if they are affiliated with AANR.
