When is it generally Ok to be thinking of going to Maslins? From early November or just watch the weather? Are spring 7 autumn better than the height of summer? Is there any shade on the beach for hot summer days?

nakeddownunder2Sep 18, 2022November is when it gets consistently warm enough to be on the beach nearly everyday. Iusually stay in a cabin at the big 4 port willinga which is a short walk from the beach

GrantSep 18, 2022Maslins Beach ... I remember it well! The first beach I got naked on 45 years ago. Having grown up in Adelaide, the best beach time is usually between October and April, depending on how early or late the seasons change. As for shade/shelter? The beach backs directly onto cliffs and faces West, so you're pretty much in full sun until late afternoon. TG for daylight savings, otherwise you'd be going home about 3pm. Hope this helps :)
