  Was able to try at a function that was held at the distillery last fall. Was a wonderful bourbon, Still wanting to purchase a bottle, is expensive, but not as expensive as the Pappy's. For a 22year old, not an overly oaky bourbon, very nice to just pour and sip slowly.

  Blade and Bow is a gimmicky bottle that most novice people like myself would probably look at nothing more. I thing that comparable bottles are probably 1792 Small Batch, Bulleit Bourbon (90 proof) and Kentucky Owl Wiseman. I would rather buy the 1792 Small Batch because the price of Blade and Bow is outrageous for what it is. For half the price of Blade and Bow or KO Wiseman I would get 1792 Small Batch.
