Cape Kimberley

Cape Tribulation captures the attention of the tourists but we stayed at a wilderness resort at Cape Kimberley in the '90s. Almost had the beach to ourselves apart from the chopper joy flights from Port Douglas. In hindsight we may also have been sharing the area with crocs in the Daintree, but we didn't see any at the mouth of the river. A great experience!
