AdamOriginal PosterJun 1, 2025
How did it go?
Hey brother sorry for the late reply I have been really busy. The competition was awesome! Great environment and bracket. It did not go in my favor and I lost both matches. I have a tendency to freeze up for competition which is why I want to compete more. Lol. Hopefully the next one is better. AdamReactReply - SA

Adam
It's amazing you can compete at all being a dad and everything. I'm sure you'll become more comfortable as you compete more. You'd likely be the only one comfortable competing as a naked warrior. Maybe if you picture that it will give you that extra edge, to be starkers with textiles for only following the rules. Good luck.ReactReply - NA

JimOct 21, 2025Practice is something that I miss more than tournaments. I always got so tight doing matches. But yeah one of my last matches was better, I started to relax more and I won ! But I turned my opponent around so the judge only seen my punch. Lol
But at the black belt tournament I released that I was way too old and my body wasnt up for it anymore. Lol. Knees were bad and hips just didnt work well. But I just fought through the pain to complete.
