Nov 10, 2020Is God a nudist? Would clothes be important to any divine being? They are kind of a construct of man.

He made Adam and Eve without clothes to look like Him as noted in the following verses from Genesis. 1:27 God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. It is an interesting side note that on the first 5.5 days of creation, God looked at the things He had created and said they were "good" but after He created (naked) humans, then His assessment was "very good."ReactReply - NK

If you want to know the truth about 'Adam and Eve' read 'The Origin of God' by Laurence Gardner. It's a factual exploration of the history of civilisation beginning with the first organised humans in Mesopotamia, thousands of years before the bible was written.
