Jan 1, 2012Does anyone remember Milton Keynes before it was Milton Keynes - just Bletchley, Wolverton, Stony Stratford and the villages? I moved ther in the early 70's and worked for the infamous Develpment Coorp. I remember standing with my back to the first CMK shopping building and seeing corn fields. Unfortunately I had to move away in 1992, pity.

StewJan 2, 2012As a young child I can vaguely recall the development corp having some sort of building that looked like a big white bubble - I think it held an exhibition of the grand plans for Milton Keynes.ReactReply - OL
OllyOriginal PosterFeb 10, 2012It wasn't that long ago. The Development Coorp was there up to 1992 - 20 years ago
