Feb 27, 2022Following my recent conversation with Portsmouth City Council regarding Eastney beach, I can confirm that the nudist beach has been officially extended.
The extension now covers an area from the footpath starting at the beach, turning right to about 100 metres or so. There have been signs erected at the back of the beach stating that this area is for the use of naturists. It extends beyond the frontage occupied by the static caravan site. Textiles will still have use of this area including the area adjacent the Fraser range.
This has got to be an excellent forward thinking strategy, indicating Portsmouth City Council's willingness to allow the continued and long-standing use of its beach for naturism. I am prevented by TN from uploading a photo here of the new signage, but it is available on my profile if anyone wishes to see it.
