Have always loved b/w photos. So much more detail s in them. I shoot most of my pictures in b/w ,nature, people, every day things. Most of my pictures on TN are shot by someone using my camera in b/w

Interesting topic. I have seen b/w pics here which are in other groups in color. So, do we like b/w shot in b/w film or is a converted color pic to b/w pic just as acceptable?

I shoot everything in colour, then covert to BW if I think it adds something. Colour can add a distraction, BW just changes or highlights differences in tone IMHO.

Nudity and Black & White photos really go together and provide a great view.

Unfortunately in the puritanical US any picture of a naked minor is likely to be considered child porn, even if it's you from decades ago. The pix are innocent, their interpretation is warped; just something to keep in mind.

B&W has always been a favourite of mine. The contrasts, light & shade, definition. There are some really interesting photo's here but the ones focusing on the genitals, ... really? Aren't we more than just that? We are nudists and our bodies and genitals are on show but I think we can do better and take whole body photo's in interesting places or with good lighting or whatever.
