First time to Oak Lake

My birthday is coming up and my wife has agreed to go to Oak Lake November 6 for the fish fry. This will be our first outing, we are excited and nervous. Trying to figure out if we are coming up just for the day or stay Fri and/or Sat night.

    How did it go? I've really wanted to visit Oaklake but my wife isn't on board. Would love to hear about your experience. Unfortunately until my wife is okay about it I'm not sure I could visit, certainly not without her being unhappy with me.
