criccieth8179Jan 16, 2020Hi: I get to Clover Spa for an afternoon visit about once a month, sometimes more often, and occasionally stay overnight in the hotel. You are in for a real treat. I can't recommend Clover Spa too highly. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the other guests are very friendly too. I always find it very easy to chat to other spa users. I think the fact that the guests are all naked makes it easier to strike up conversation. There is a lovely equality about the place. If I have one tip, it is to take things slowly. It's not necessary to rush about the spa trying to experience everything at once. A long soak in the hot tub (30-40 minutes) is always a good way to slow things down. And you can always read the paper and have a coffee and snack before going back into the spa. The treatments are also very relaxing, although I don't always have one on my monthly visits. Staying for a night or two in the hotel (which is first rate) just takes the whole experience to a higher level. Have a wonderful time.
