  Southern Vermont is my go-to place but (if I recall), it's a longer drive for you. I nearly got busted in Massachusetts once so I'm skittish there. IN short, I am open to suggestions.

  That looks good to me. Heres hoping for great weather! It appears to be a 3.5 hour drive. So starting at trailhead around 10:30 or after should work for me.

  Looks like it will be a sunny day next Thursday, but cool, low 40 ish at 6 am, to 60 2-3 pm. Definitely doable .

  Hey Guys, glad to see others are taking the initiative and organizing hikes for the group. Wish I could join you, but I have taken a lot of vacation days lately, In addition, I am taking half a day off from work on the 1st to have a procedure done on my back and then Sunday I am committed to a deep-sea fishing trip. Anyway, I hope the weather is good and the hike goes well. By the way, I am also in the process of buying a property in Brattleboro, so next year I will have the ability to host if some group members who may want to stay over before or after one of our hikes, particularly those who may have to travel far to participate. Well, again, thanks for posting and hope everyone has a good hike,

  Brattleboro sounds great, though that is one of the few towns with an anti-nudity ordinance. I'm sure it will be a great place anyway.

  Forcast is for temperatures in the mid-50's around 10:30.
  Will you/did you start dressed and remove clothes with the temperature increase?
