  There used to be a group of boat owners who would schedule meet and greets on the water and invite landlubbers to join them. They would ask for a small donation of drinks or food or cash to help make it a party. They disappeared a couple years ago, but something like that would be a good thing to start up again.
  
  I have to say that I went with a bunch of friends on one of those sunset cruises out of Key West several months back. We couldn't go far out because of the stiff wind, which made it rather brisk on the bare skin. So my vote is for a hot sunny summer day when you can go skinnydipping in the water to cool off and not freeze when you're up on deck.
