Freehiking San Gabriel Mountains

Am looking forward to warmer temperatures that will allow free hiking on trails in the San Gabriel Mountains: the Mt. Wilson area (for example, Strawberry Meadows) and farther east on Angeles Crest Highway in the Mt. Waterman area (Devil's Canyon, Cooper Canyon). Are there guys out there who might be interested in joining me?

    Wish I was closer. Day hike. Overnight? Several days?

    Yes indeed, distance is a problem! I had day hikes in mind.

    Years ago I did hike a bit in the San Bernardino National Forest--I believe it was Bear Creek, near Snow Valley and Siberia Creek. Wonderful!
