Jul 30, 2011Do we need to see two men kissing on the BBC? I think I'm out of date with this day and age.

baretravelerJul 30, 2011I agree with NudeinMa - it was always part of Capt Jacks personality - even pre Torchwood when he was on Dr.Who

In fact, Captain Jack is much more than simply bisexual as there have been mentions, in previous storylines, of liasons with 'aliens'. I think it's great to have a character who is, in effect, a non heterosexual superhero - makes a welcome change. When the lead character is heterosexual, that sexuality is, usually, rammed down our throat constantly - even Captain Kirk got to kiss Lt Uhura on the original Star Trek!

That's probably true!

karhuukAug 13, 2011
Hmm... I don't have a problem with him being bi-sexual ...
I don't think Jack *is* bisexual, I think he's just sexual. John Barrowman reckons he's gay but I suppose he would.ReactReply - MEMemberAug 27, 2011

I had to fast forward this as I couldn't stand it (whether or not it was relevant to the plot).
I know what you mean. I feel the same whenever I see a man virtually devouring a woman on screen.ReactReply
