I have noticed that guys get aroused when surrounded by other naked men in communal showers. This goes for gay or straight and includes myself. It's not necessarily a sexual thing, it's just the thrill of seeing another naked male, which appears to trigger primal, tribal state of excitement. Any thoughts?

rydeguyDec 12, 2025I tend to agree with you and I find it erotic, as I just love seeing other male bodies, it's not always about sexual lust, sometimes I just admire the other guy's bodies and what I like most about that particular person. I am conscious if I start to get aroused to keep it under control unless I'm in the company of other guys who want to see "excitement" as well as showing theirs as well, love seeing other men hard when appropriate and in the right space, it's visually appealing to me as well.

WayneDec 15, 2025I agree with both of you. I go to a nude beach 19 miles north of me in New Jersey. It's also about 25 miles south of NYC. On a good Saturday there might be about 600 gay guys on the beach. About half of them are nude before 6 PM. That's the time the life guards leave then I'd guess 85% are nude. Some get erections and in most cases are not embarrassed about it. Wayne

that is true. the beach is open till 9 PM. Remember June 21 is the longest day, but as the summer goes on the sunset occurs before 9 PM. All kinds of sexual activities happening. No fear if the sun is still up, there are areas of brush where you can go with a mate for some privacy.
