We were members here for several years and had our first experience in public nudity here. It was just slightly over an hour's drive from our home, and we purchased a trailer there and made friends with many of the folks who also love it here - some living there full-time during the summer season.

Sadly, the owners retired and moved to Florida shortly after re-opening after the Covid shutdown. They sold the campground to a member who vowed to keep it clothing-optional, but did not keep his promise. He's making a lot of money from his textile campers and he purchased a number of trailers which are all crammed in together. IMO, he ruined it for his own profit.

We have not been to any nudist resorts since, but have heard some positive reviews of Solair in CT. I think we will try them out this summer.

Thats is sad to hear. I get the free country and their money thing as I have my own businesses too. However, I would have thought there would be sufficient profits from the 'buff dollar' sector to maintain a healthy profit...perhaps our community needs to be far more supportive of such facilities

To be clear, I posted this UNDER the recommendation for "Juniper Woods" campground in Catskill, NY. I was under the impression that I did not have to name the campground in my post, but I guess it was not obvious
