How are you received in naked groups?

I have had nothing but welcoming, supportive reactions in naturist gatherings, both at nudist resorts and social gatherings. When I attended the Gay Naturist International Gathering in 2002 (800+ naked men) I had several members come up to me and welcome me. There were at least two other amputees attending that year.

What have your experiences been?  I generally perceive nudists to be accepting and welcoming of all kinds of people.  Has that been your experience?
