i've always wanted to try modeling for an art class.
I bet it would be fun but I haven't found any opportunities in my area.

MarkNov 11, 2024I used to do some modeling for a male figure drawing class in ft Lauderdale when I lived there. I still get their emails and sometimes sign up if I will be in the area. I have applied to a few listings at community colleges with no luck. I think the problem we face is the old supply and demand economics. There are a lot of us old retired guys that are willing to model, but a lot of the art classes prefer younger physically fit models even if they won't admit it. If they have a choice between reasonably fit older guys or a 20 something guy with a chiseled chest and six pack abs, well sucks to be us. I have done some modeling for individual artists and photographers just for the fun of it and now that I am getting in better shape I seem to be getting a little more interest.
