  I measure from the base of my dick to the end of the glans.

  I believe the proper way to measure your penis is from the base on the top side to the tip of the glans.

  Obviously whichever way makes your penis longer - just like you measure the fattest part for girth - penis envy takes over even when measuring yourself. As we get older at least for me the issue is more that when it is down it goes way down and in - not like when I was in my 20's able to have repeated activity many times. Guess it happens to all of us. Still don't get any complaints from my female partners. Maybe a better measure if 'she' does it? Who knows. Remember it is not the size of the ship but the motion of the ocean that counts.
  Problem in measuring - what do you do if you have a crooked one? Mine has such a curve a times you cannot tell the 'length'.

  you measure from the very base to the tip and around the middle, thickest part, gives you the girth... Always use a cloth tailors tape measure or use a string, mark it and check on a regular tape measure. Oh..... and always remember a dollar bill is 6" long
