Drive nude using a Kilt to wear and sit on in the car/truck/Jeep, whatever! Put on the Kilt, jump in and drive off. Pop the Kilt open while you drive. If you need cover just flip it back over or button it back on and jump out. No fumbling with shorts sticking to your shoes or jockeying around for room.

AZMarkandDanAug 27, 2025What a great idea!! I'll need to get a kilt now...lol I have always wanted to get together with a friend and drive out to the desert at night naked as a jay bird... I love the thrill of it Would also love to park somewhere where we could be discovered and see what pops up!! The dare of it is so exciting... anyone else??

J.Aug 27, 2025Look up "men's towel wrap". Kind of like an informal kilt... or a formal towel! I wear one when driving from home to our local nudist camp and do exactly what J-Koch does.

I do put on shorts when exiting.ReactReply - TD

Mike but also go by Koch (coach)Original PosterAug 28, 2025Today I got out to put fuel in the Jeep twice and go inside to pick up some snacks and coffee. I also put it on at rest stops.
I just pop it on whenever I jump in and out of the Jeep. Today I also took it off to take my State Highway sign pictures.

Please askAug 28, 2025Got my first kilt a couple of years ago (wish I had done it sooner) and enjoy it for times when nudity is not accepted. It works well when hiking in crowded areas or in jurisdictions where nudity is a crime. Like J Koch, I can undo it when driving or taking a hiking break if no one is around. A quick flip and snap and it's back in place.
Hiking in a kilt while commando (sometimes called "regimental") is as close as I have come to freehiking while still being covered. I also wear it when out for a walk in town. I get the occasional comment ("Nice kilt") and have been asked the stereotypical question, "What do you wear under the kilt?" My answer is always with the question, "You do know the tradition, don't you?" although the "tradition" is, according to some, a myth. The message gets communicated and usually generates a broad smile.

When I've worn my kilt and people have asked me what I'm wearing underneath it, I either offer to let them check or just answer "boots". (Many truists believe that if you're wearing anything under it, then it's a skirt.)ReactReply
