Looking forward to my first paddleboard season.

When I realized that I spent most outings with my fishing kayak standing to paddle and sight cast I figured I should just bite the bullet and get a paddle board. I bought one with my tax money and am just waiting for water temps to get higher since I didn't have enough for a wet suit too.

    Thanks. I took it out again today to check on a creek that connects to a canal and usually gets drained in the winter. The water isn't high enough that I can paddle up to my skinny dipping hole but I was able to paddle up its outlet a ways. Should have taken a fly rod. Carp were rooting on the mud flats and I saw several pike in the creek outlet.
