Naked Volleyball — Discussion on True Nudists

I used to enjoy playing naked volleyball with a group of naturists in the Montrose area of Pennsylvania.
Now that the weather is starting to warm up, I hope new groups start to happen again.
Even better if some are formed in the Southern Tier region of New York.

During my one-and-only visit to a naturist resort a few years ago, I did see several people playing volleyball naked. It looked to be fun though a bit of a cliche. On the other hand, the groups playing "pickle ball" also looked to be having fun. They were playing mixed doubles with couples waiting their turns to "get the winners." I had a blast watching and would have eagerly joined except I was alone and knew no one. On the other hand, I did see the swinging of the rackets and the hitting of the ball such a short distance as potentials for accidental injury. Still, I would love to take a shot at it and enjoy that type of freedom while accepting the risk.

Most nudist camps have some form of volleyball. Whether it be sand, hard surface or water. Nudistvolleyball.com has a list of tournaments mostly along the Eastern U.S. and Canada. The largest tournament at White Thorn Lodge just had it's 50th anniversary and Lake Como had it's 20th. Pickleball is 5he fastest growing sport in the U.S. and is popular at nudist camps
