Hi! I live in Sacramento and am trying to get in touch with other nudists. The River Dippers aren't taking members or holding events now due to the COVID pandemic, so I'm on my own here. Any help from you on meeting people would be appreciated.

    Yes River Dippers has been paused for almost a year due to COVID-19. we really can't do any meetings due to health restrictions.

    An update:

    The River Dippers are open for memberships again and are hosting events now. Go to their web site for more information:

    Some of these events are open only to people who are completely vaccinated against COVID-19. This is because they are held at private residences, and the hosts call the shots. Other events don't have this requirement, but it's wise to check ahead to see what restrictions there are.

    I hope to see some of you there!

    The River Dippers held a very nice indoor swim and potluck last weekend that was well attended. It was good to see them again. I don't know when their next event will be... probably sometime this winter.

    I think they're also holding a "Meet and Greet" to introduce new members to the group. Their website has the details.

    It was an indoor heated pool, so weather wasn't an issue. This is the first one I've been to, and there were probably 20 people there. The organizer expected more, though.

    Yeah. But it looks like the full immunization routine (including booster) is good protection against the Delta variant So let's hope that COVID won't be dominating our lives in the future. I think it will always be in the background, like influenza or even the common cold, but we'll take precautions.

    I can tell you that the River Dippers are pretty active, and hold events every couple of months or so. I suggest you make contact with them. Also, PM me if you want an introduction to Laguna del Sol... I expect to go there a few times this year once the weather gets better.
