I have to say I enjoy the older films better. they just seem to have more of a story to them. I like some of the FX, but a movie shouldn't rely on that to be good

I like both. I enjoy the classics because they created a dynamic story line and created fright and terror through script and simplicity. Today, special effects need to enhance the terror. But love both. I also love when I have friends in films and have the opportunity to be in a few myself. Yes, one of my films has been released on DVD and I expect a couple more to be out sometime this year.

I like old horror movies like Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman. I like the Hammer versions of the old monster movies, too. I enjoy the Japanese monster movies featuring Godzilla, Gamera, Rodin and the others. I like Halloween, Friday the 13th and the Nightmare on Elm Sreet films. I also liked newer, gorier movies like Saw and Hostel. If Joe Bob Briggs would say check it out, it doesn't matter how many of the three B's are present I want to see them.

I love the following horror films, to me they are all classics:   Nightmare on Elm Street (original film), Hallowe'en, The Fog, The Shining, Salem's Lot (original two-part mini series), Drag Me To Hell, Saw (1 - 7), Hostel (Part 1) and Candyman (Part 1).

I prefer by far old or classic ones. More atmospheric, more original, more aestethic, more inventive.

Some modern horrors are good: I loved Drag Me To Hell.

The Exorcist would be an excellent example of that:  scary as hell in its day - funny as hell now.

I like classic and new. But, I haven't liked all the horror movies I've seen.
