Today we took our 17 year old dog Dittie, a Cairin Terrier to the Vet. Since he was there in July hes gone down from 12. 7 lbs to 8.3 lbs. it was a year and a half ago he was diagnosed with Cushings Disease which causes lack of appetite, vomiting, restlessness and shaking due to abundant Cortisol being released from his Adrenal Glands. Hell no longer take his daily medication or consume more than a half cup of food per day. Suspected life years after being diagnosed with Cushings is no more than 2 years. Hell be solely missed!

JimJan 6, 2024Yes they do get into our hearts.
Just lost my friend also before Christmas. I miss him so much. I hear him all the time, behind me or just out of sight. I even found his favorite ball yesterday. It was lost in the yard all this time. I guess I need to throw it againReactReply - C
