Jim, I'm at a bit of a quandary, too, about what may or may NOT be allowed to be posted. I did a story about getting busted doing a nude photo shoot on New Year's Eve and illustrated the event with several photos. Although the photos uploaded successfully... the next day they were gone. I was told (by a fellow member...NOT Admin.!) that they were "probably" taken down because the facial features ofsomeof the people in the photos were blurred. I thought that was a bit ODD... but, oh well... I let it go and did NOT repost the photos. Then recently I had occasion to post on ANOTHER topic about being naked and, again, illustrated my comments with a few photos. The photos showed my new screen door and how "transparent" it looks. In two of the photos I am standing OUTSIDE, naked, and you can see MY reflection in the large mirror in our foyer. In the other two photos I am standing, naked, inside, and the camera shows the transparency of the screen. Those photos TOO were taken down. I've done a bit of searching on the site for a set of POSTING RULES that might explain what and why ,etc... but have NOT found any. Maybe a moderator or an Admin. person seeing THIS post will be kind enough to guide me to the regs. OR supply an explanation.

    Rules can be found here.
In addition there is a rule which applies in chat and also for galleries that any picture which shows the genital area[strong]must[/strong]also show the person's face. This applies regardless of whether the genitals are covered or not. Please also note that the pictures must not be exhibitionist in nature and that this rule can be VERY subjective.

John, Thanks for the link to the Rules page! I'm left wondering, though... Aren't ALL photographs of naked people "voyeuristic and/or exhibitionistic" ???

Tanner, Agreed, by definition nude photos "exhibit " ourselves contrary to societal norms. We can debate the merits of those norms. To the average person I'd our nude photos are exhibitionist.

Like anything else there is a range of behavior from acceptable to un acceptable , IMO genital jewelry is on the acceptable end of the scale.
