Ok, so I've started this "Power 90" program.  It's 90 days and is supposed to work wonders if you work with it and be consistent.  I've completed 3 days and it's tough.  The hardest parts are the push-ups, dips, ab work and Yoga.  I'm sore but it's a  good sore if you know what I mean.
About to start Day 4....  Cardio - much tougher than the "sculpting" workouts.

Weigh-in done!  Finally broke through that little plateau!
Down to 260 lbs.  That's 14 lbs since starting 1/3/2011.

There are forums for all the Beachbody workouts.  I can tell you that Insanity is truly insane.  You have to be in great shape (as in completed p90x) to really do well.  This is from my research.   Your diet is very important on that program for success.  It's also heavy cardio and very light on strength training.  The later is very important as we get older, so take it for what it's worth.  I have a good deal of knowledge, I just haven't been USING it in the last 10 years. LOL!

I've been doing P90X for about a year off and on, thought I was in pretty good shape.  Did the baseline "Fit Test" from the Insanity, and my gosh...I was rubber afterward.  That was something else!  Gonna give it a shot, but will probably work out with strength training, also.

Check out Beachbody.com.  They have hybrid workouts that are basically Insanity for cadio and P90X for sculpting.  Sounds pretty awesome.
IF/When I graduate P90, I plan to do P90X.  I've aggravated an old shoulder injury so I'm doing push-ups using the couch because it takes the pressure off my shoulder.  I did 34 push-ups in correct form (toes and on the ground) Monday.  I guess pushing it there is what cost me my shoulder. :
Today I did 38 of the 44 push-ups using the couch.  So maybe when my shoulder is better I can get all 44 push-ups done.  Can't do the dips right now either.  :(

Still going strong.  The scale didn't change this week but in two weeks I'm down an inch in my stomach, waste and butt.  Pretty happy with those results.
I have a pair of jeans hanging on the bathroom door.  They might not be real comfortable, but I can wear them today!  That'll make you feel good no matter who you are!
If anyone is thinking of changing themselves, I recommend Power 90 by Beachbody.com.  Tony Horton rocks!

Ok, at the end of three weeks, I'm down 1.5" in m stomach, waste and butt.  Very happy about that but the scale nor BF% is changing much which concerns me because even though scale doesn't change - the BF% has to if I'm losing inches.
Oh, and those pants?  I can wear them now.  ;)  So it isn't falling off as fast as I'd like but it is falling off.  I just have to be more patient.

Comfortably wore those jeans to work today.  They are one size smaller than the ones I was wearing - which were tight when I started this deal.
Pretty excited about that.  Making good strides in the workouts too but I'm having an elbow problem.  Going to see an Orthopedic specialist tomorrow.... fingers crossed.
