Prince Albert age of consent

  this is an old post but just in case you are still following or for info for other persons.....First, I am a body piercer myself and have done a few prince alberts including my own at a young age which I am not at liberty to divulge. Which is actually the point of my post. Even if a piercer agrees to pierce it, even if the parents sign a release/waiver, its automatic jail time for the person that pierces the genitals of anyone that is under the age of 18 in north america. aside from the legal rammifications and anyone under 18 not being able to consent, there are medical reasons to not do it. male nipples are a different story, but female nipples and both male and female genetalia are still developing all the way till the age of 18. which means if you alter the development process by piercing it, you could risk perminant damage and loss of function of the nipples or genetalia. I understand the want, because i too wanted, but there are immense risks to your kid(s) and the piercer could go to jail for life. 16 may be acceptable in some juristictions for nipple piercings (with parental consent) , but genitals are definitely 18 plus.
