  Hey old4me... same here!! Love being naked with other men. We are 66 and 81, practically live naked here in Phoenix. Very private backyard with pool and hot tub. Phoenix is a great place to live or visit if you are a nudist, primarily the weather and pools are not a luxury here, so a lot of houses have pools. The majority of backyards have block privacy fences around them, so unless you have a 2 story house around you it is such a private place to be... Hot Springs and naked hiking, nudist resorts, nudist social groups, so lots of opportunity to meet like minded folks.

  100% I wish I had more friends, or any long standing friends, who I could hang out with. Str8, married, bi, gay.. altogether naked and free and natural and without any hangups or shyness. ready for some great deep and meaningful talks and laughs and light-hearted banter. The perfect world. Now.. I only have to find them!!

Sadly, a few extra variables to consider.

  I've built friendships with nudists of all genders, experiencing a similar comfort level across the board. The shared vulnerability creates a universal bond. Yet I've observed something distinctive when men gather nude a particular brotherhood emerges, not unlike the supportive spaces women often create among themselves. When I first ventured into nudism, still riddled with insecurities, I found myself drawn to older male mentors. I remember one man, in his sixties, who responded to my awkward confession about being uncircumcised with just a casual nod that spoke volumes: "Why would that matter?" Another, in his fifties, moved through the world with such comfort in his aging body that my own anxieties about appearance gradually subsided. First-time male nudists often arrive with one particular fear dominating their thoughts - getting an erection. A mentor of mine a man with decades of social nudity noticed my unspoken anxiety during my early visits. "That worry you're carrying?" he said quietly while we set up beach chairs. "It rarely happens, and when it does, just casually sit down or roll onto your stomach until it passes. Nobody's keeping score." These men had mastered something I desperately needed a genuine indifference to judgment, especially regarding those male-specific concerns that loomed so large in my mind. They embodied a simple philosophy: shed your clothes, shed your worries, and just live. Now in my late fifties, I find myself naturally stepping into the role those mentors once filled for me. When a newer, nudist hesitates or apologizes for some perceived bodily flaw, I offer the same quiet acceptance that once steadied my own journey. There's something uniquely powerful about men creating spaces where other men can breathe freely, without the weight of comparison or judgment. True brothers.

  As an older guy myself I find that I am less self conscious now about social nudity so I suppose thats the same for others who have come to terms with the body and psyche that they have, not the ones that they always felt should be better. Allows for more comeraderie, more engagement, more fun. Certainly a better role model for younger people who are exploring social nudity too.

  Hey beautiful naked men, you must be starting your spring time. Are your clothes coming off ? We've been having a wonderful summer. I was lucky enough to find a guy who was traveling around our South Island among the mountains in a campervan. We didn't know each other to begin with, I answered an advert for a travel companion sharing costs. He was a nudist too and we got along really well. We found remote rivers and gorges to spend the night. We shared the bed in the back of the van and we had a lovely time. I won't forget him in a long time. I'd love him to be a close friend or more. I'm already putting out feelers for the next travel companion. It was nice to establish no clothes at the start. It does make for less inhibitions and more acceptance of our bodies. We drove naked quite a lot of the time and had to remind each other when we stopped for gas. It was liberating.

  In the last 10 years I've been comfortable talking with other naked men at CO beaches. Sadly it's mostly men at these beaches, and while I'm straight I'm comfortable with talking with other men at these beaches. There is a level of camaraderie I think with most people, we all enjoy time in the sun, in the ocean and along the beach without clothes. I think as we age we care less about the bulls..t and more about what is real and important.
