I will be there 27-31 Jul. Only a sliver of moon, so dark nights and good star gazing.

    My for sure days are mid-June and mid-August. However, next week I will find out whether a new hiking trail will be constructed. If it is, I'll be down much more often to help out with that. As of now, the trail is approved, but it can still be vetoed. This weekend's visit was wonderful. Hardly a soul taking the clothed option, and a lot of interesting people. There is a group of cavers/bat researchers currently mapping the Orient.

    I wonder if they will try and do a count again this summer. The last attempt I'm aware of got rained out as the rain was interfering with the equipment.
