  Those of us in NSW can go there, though best to keep the Sydney siders out.

  I prefer to go there in Spring and Autumn. Others prefer the hotter months of Summer. It can get quite hot. Each to their own.

  Of those who have been there, how is the river for canoeing, fishing etc?

  There is a long stretch that the riverside camping area is on that people like to fish in, and it's of moderate length for canoeing. There is white water at either end of the stretch. Best when not in drought since the water levels can really drop.

  I prefer summer, but occasionally also go in spring and autumn. I've also been before in winter, when it can also be great if the weather is sunny, but not as good as summer.
