I was at Spa World from about 2:45 to 7:00 today. There was relatively small crowd there, maxing out at about 20 in the bade pool area. The bubbling pool and the icy shower were both closed for repairs. Though no one was working on them, they looked like there were plans to get them back up and running.

Over the 4 hours, there were three suits. One was early on and he wasn't there for long. I recognized him as a regular who used to wear a thin wrap around his waist back when suits weren't allowed. The other two came in together. They had big trunks on -- almost board shorts style. Once was subtle but the other was black with big bright dinosaur shapes on it. They were there a while and, though they initially showered in their shorts, they doffed them for their final shower and walked back to their lockers fully naked almost like they had been completely starkers the whole time.

Though it usually seems foolish for me to brave the DC Beltway in the afternoon to get to/from Spa World, some naked time with those jets hammering away at my shoulders and back always make it worthwhile.

I was there earlier on Wednesday. The shower between the sauna and steam room stopped working that morning. Three guys came to look at it, scratched their heads and left. Hopefully the bubble pool will be fully repaired in the near future. Spa World is a little slow to make repairs for some reason. Weekday mornings are never crowded.

I prefer midweek times when I can. Wednesday mornings are usually the quietest times there.

Yeah, they need to step it up on some repairs there. Still love it, but the need to get a few things together.
