Well, we finally did it. Found a 3100 square foot house on 7 acres of secluded wooded land WITH a full shop already on the property. Now I can work from the house and there is room room room for all the rescues. I can open shop in a week or two and be home with all the special needs dogs at the same time. Just rehomed 4 danes in two weeks. We have one headed to Washington State in a week. That will be the farthest adoption yet. Great to see them getting great forever homes but for every one adopted out it seems one comes in. So sad to see such a gentle giant dog reduced to skin and bones from being abandoned sometimes.
