I get trying to surf naked, but what about the sand rash from your board.  I rarely ride without a rash guard even in the hottest weather.
Do you have to use fresh wax every time you go out?  I just think of all the sand that gets on my board even with a fresh set up and I just think rashed nipples and don't want to think of a surf rashed tip lol.
Totally not against it, can't wait to try it... but the rash thing...

I currently ride a Lib Tec Puddle Jumper 6'1", Its the jam.

I only get to surf naked a few times each year, on Pea Island, OBX. But in warmer water and weather I seldom wear a rash guard. Sand in my wax is never a problem as long as I don't lie my board deck-down on dry sand. When I discuss surfing naked with friends the common excuse is not wanting wax in their pubes. I have pubes but wax in them is never a problem. I also hear the excuse of risk of harming their genitals. I guess that may be a problem with a small penis and uptight balls but I don't have those problems, mine just go with the flow and move out of harms way with the water movement.
