To be accepted....

We're you ever new to something and just looking to be accepted?
It surprises me on how many people say they are nonjudgmental and yet are the first to deny a friend request or a group request. I have been "testing the waters". I have sent requests and tried to join groups and most times I see they viewed my profile and assume they read it. Then nothing. The same thing happens with groups. You read all the criteria, feel you meet their silly guidelines, then either no response or just a note that says you don't meet the group guidelines. REALLY?? For a site full of people that all claim to have the same standards, some seem stuck-up as hell.
