Track closure from Dolphin Point to Granite Bay

Apparently the Coastal Track is closed between Dolphin Point and Granite Bay for upgrade works. The website says an alternative route shall be available but is light on the specifics.

Does anyone have on-the-ground experience to share?

    Answer: track is now open and reinstatement works appear complete. Fresh gravel along entire section (was getting pretty rutted and puddly last year) and, I think, some more areas paved with flagstones where erosion appeared the greatest.
