Transport to Buchans Point

I found when I was there I needed to get an Uber, the buses don't go that far and walking on the road from Palm Cove is a bit precarious. Getter an Uber each day was cheaper than hiring a car and one were available in Trinity beach when I was there anyway. Getting back posed a bigger problem as I did have to walk on the road as only 1 day out of 3 could I get an Uber to collect me from the beach carpark. Any other options that anyone has found?
