  I suppose it very much depends upon what the briefs look like!
  But I guess, I'd be okay with being naked too.

  I enjoy sexy underwear and have worn it in public places where nudity is not allowed.

If not, get a comfortable pair of dress slacks and coordinating jscket.

  I can tell you from personal experience that I am more comfortable in public while completely nude as opposed to being in my underwear.
  Several years ago I participated on the no pants subway ride in Los Angeles ( I had to go and buy some to wear for the event.)
  I wore boxer briefs and rode the subway and walked around the Chinese Theater.
  
  I did my first WNBR in 2010 and after a few minutes it felt normal to be riding my bike around Los Angeles while completely nude.
  In 2012 I did the No Pants ride. It was not that I felt uncomfortable. it just felt a little strange.
  I did take advantage of the situation and did not put my pants back on after the event and rode the subway back to the valley and walked to the car still in my underwear.
  
  In the attached picture I am the one on the right side in white shirt and marron underwear.

  Is our choice of underwear more intimate than opting to go nude? Perhaps, but then grooming preferences also become public. I guess nudity, particularly in a group, has the element of all being relatively equal at that point.

  Dont think I would be embarrassed to wear underwear. The only time I wear them is during certain jobs I have to do for work. Other than that I dont wear underwear.

  Last summer we had a streak of days it was 90 degs ,I had to run out to car we park in back so I put on my thong and went out our neighbor's are close but it was mid day on my way back I looked and my one neighbor was out and looking my way so I waved she waved back
