Unisex showers

I always enjoy the unisex open showers at the French camp sites and naturist holiday centres which I visit but there don't seem to be many in the UK. The only ones I know about are at Clover Spa and Hotel, a small establishment in Birmingham where there are three open showers next to the sauna and plunge pool.

    In the Netherlands all sauna's haven them but not the public pools etc.

    The German spas I've visited were mostly communal unisex, as are the spas themselves.
    I'll be staying on nudist campsites in France next month.

    I have just remembered the communal shower at Evesham pool (since replaced), which was unisex and naked showering was strictly forbidden. I had changed for my swim and needed to shower to ensure that my bottom was clear of faecal matter (a side effect of a major operation for bowel cancer). I was told off quite firmly when I tried to remove my costume, so I returned to the pay desk to ask where I could shower naked, explaining the reason. I was escorted to a non-public part of the building on an upper floor to shower.

    Which French sites would you recommend? I travel in my motorhome to France every year and it would be good to visit some sites

There are large sophisticated camp sites like Euronat with pools, spas, supermarkets, other shops, bars and restaurants on site all of which can be used naked down to smaller family run sites in the "Naturisme et Terroirs" group which offer a more intimate experience.     Great memeories of being in unisex showers on French campsites, sometime on clothed sites as well as nudist only.
