Sounds novice but it wasn't until the end of summer 2025 that I really gave up never taking underwear with me any where. a few times last summer on minivacations I would take a pair with me just in case; just in case was never necessary. now I am fully committed and hardly own but a couple pair for my jiu jitsu training and even then I now use shorts with built in compression shorts under so I don't even really wear underwear at all. Its eye opening and liberating for sure.
Anyone else fully committed to no underwear and when did you give them up?

I have a minivaca coming up in March and will not be taking any underwear with me. I have been trying for awhile to get my wife to move away from wearing underwear so much; so maybe this trip she will wear them less. we will see.

JimFeb 3, 2026The only time I wear underwear is going to the skin doctor. Because the female doctor doesnt need to see me, an old man naked. Lol. Its just a respect type of thing for her.

I told him on my first visit 8 years ago that I'm a nudist and get overall sun and I want a FULL body check. I don't put on the paper gown so he does the exam with my underwear on, then he asks me to pull down my briefs and he checks my ass and genitals for spots.ReactReply - TD

Now that I am getting older, I occasionly wear it if I will be somewhere without convenient bathroom access.ReactReply

When I stopped wearing underwear and got rid of all of it, I wore a solid swim brief to the dermatologist a few times. I eventually asked him if he would be comfortable examining a nude patient. He said that it actually made his live easier and allowed for a more complete examination, but he has his staff tell patients to strip to their underwear because he knows that many of them would not be comfortable being nude with a doctor. I have been nude for my exams since, Should have askes sooner!

Just like you, I tend not to bring underwear on vacation. Have moved away from wearing them all the time, except when I have to wear a suit. Thats the only time I wear it now, and going commando everywhere feels more comfortable and free.

HeadOfSteamFeb 4, 2026I was a firm commando guy until I got a piercing last April. It would rub raw around the holes if I was walking more than like a mile. It took forever for it to heal and I began wearing underwear again and never returned to commando except maybe weekends.

Maybe. I feel like there is always that 'what if' question lingering in my mind. I have slowly been throwing them out. So I know eventually I will get rid of them all. I imagine if I do it will be by the end of this summer.
