I'd like to be the first to welcome me to this new group. I see no connection at all between MG ownership and nudists, but since I am, or have been, both, I thought I might meet up with others with similar stories. I owned an MG Midget, - even smaller than a standard MG, if that is possible. It was the most fun and the most trouble of any car I've ever owned. I think it was a '70, but could be wrong. Can't remember when I last saw an MG on the road. At the time I had my Midget, a co-worker owned a Triumph and we would compare tales of mechanical woe. He referred to his Triumph as his Defeat! I lived "Up North" back then, and remember crossing my fingers every cold Winter morning, just hoping it would start, - (about a 50-50 proposition). Good times, great memories, - glad it's gone!
