Originally I had replaced they cylinder head on one of my 2000 Jeep Cherokees - fun project to do nude, no worries about belt buckles or bulky coveralls. That job held for about six years until something happened to the engine, I'm not sure if the head gasket or the head itself failed, so rather than tearing the head off I have a donor Jeep that I pulled the engine out of and dropped into the primary. Other than shoes (and coveralls the few times I had to have the overhead door open) I was nude for the whole project.
Fun project done nude was replacing the headliner.

FingerLakesGuyDec 22, 2025I don't perform most of the services on my vehicles but I do detail them quite often. Fortunately, my garage is heated and I'm one of those guys that loves having a spotless vehicle. Always nude when detailing them.

herbJan 19, 2026I've done a timing belt on the kids car that they gave us over Dec. Did it at work in the residence garage at work. They were away for Christmas and near year break.

DaveFeb 18, 2026Probably the basement lighting and outlet job or dropping the oil pan on a four wheel drive Chevy which requires dropping skid plates, front diff, front drive connections, cross member and loosening and dropping the steering rack to access the pan. But many more hours in the basement project.
