What is it like this time of year?

Anyone know how busy it gets on a sunny weekday this time of year? I am hoping to have time to stop there for a couple of hours on Thursday afternoon. The weather forecast is good, but wondering how busy it gets / if it is worth the additional 30mins on my journey.
