Tyrion Lannister
The main reason that I am picking him is a combination of several things. (first disclosure is I have read all the books so yes I'm one of those).
George RR Martin has mentioned many times that Tyrion is his favorite character. He would have the backing of Lord Varys, (the eunuch). He doesn't have any enemies (other than his sister). John snow respects him, Dorne respects him and he isn't making enemies like Daenerys Targaryen. And my final thought, he will be far away from the fighting so his chances of survival are much higher than others.

Ask meApr 16, 2019Well thought out supposition. Or, there may be no throne to win if the Whitewalkers kill everyone. Remember how fast they took down the Wall, they may destroy half the kingdom before the humans get organized.

Hawkeye_torontoApr 27, 2019interesting thought, but i think we will see him in the fray tomorrow night. it IS harder to hit a little person as a target there is that. also he still has all of his equipment so he can father children for the succession of the throne unlike several of the characters. i would like to see Jon Snow through to the finale. it was nice to see arya experience womanhood - i think most underestimate her. she and tyrion might make a good couple. it's a great series that's for sure. far better writing than the avengers movie we watched this week!

I'm changing my guess to John Snow for the win. I really try to separate the books from the show as they are different but John rules alone Daenerys doesn't make it.
