I'm Bruce.  I've had Alopecia Areata for 7 or 8 years.  Loosely diagnosed 5 years ago.  I'm newly hairless as my Alopecia went wild recently so far I've lost over 500% of my hair from head to toe.  It looks like I'm headed to Alopecia Universalis, although there's no sign of losing eyelashes yet.

What about you?

    I meant to say "50%" of my hair, not 500%!!!  It only seems like that some days.

    Welcome, Dan--

    I've reached the point, after more than 1-1/2  years, where I just wish the hair would finally all go away and have done with it.  If I'm going to be bald as a baby, then it shouldn't take this much work!

    What's weird is that I started a new job after going bald and so nobody knows me with hair.  I think that's something I would recommend to new Alopecians, if they have that opportunity.
