Does anyone usually head out to SLR in the Winter? If so, how is it? Will be in Tucson from December to January!

KevinDec 9, 2022Right now its just a bit cold. I like it to be at least 70 degrees and sunny. The AZ sun makes a huge difference. Suggest you check a good weather app for New River, AZ. Last year the season was warmer. This year a series of storms to the north are bringing in cooler air

I visited SLR yesterday afternoon and it was fine and well attended for a Thursday. As Kjazz pointed out, the radiant heat of the sun on your skin makes a very significant difference. The afternoon temperature reached the mid to upper sixties and was just fine if you were in the sun. The mornings are quite a bit too chilly lately to be outside sans clothing, at least for me.
