Nov 27, 2014Corton beach is on the East coast of England, just north of Lowestoft.
I have visited there a few times and have to say that it is probably the dirtiest beach I've ever been on. There is a problem with flotsam etc coming in off the North Sea, but clearly, the beach is not cleaned by the local council. It's a shame as it's a pleasant shingle location.
Above the beach is a shrubby area used by the gay/bi community as a cruising ground. I have to say, I found it a pretty seedy sort of place. Not only that, the area is patrolled by police and I have seen them taking registration numbers of vehicles parked in the road close by.
All in all, it's not a place I'd recommend, there are other much pleasanter locations!
