  I've not done that nude walk but I have walked naked amongst the hundreds of clothed walkers who parade the waters edge past the dunes. Do you do any skinnydipping during daytime in San augustin? I know that they have no fkk beach there but on mainland Spain it is actually legal to go naked anywhere you want... im guessing this would be the case with Canary islands also. We love Playa Ingles and Maspalomas, we will be going there for 2 weeks in may this year.

  There's nothing particularly special about walking naked amongst textiles along the dunes and waterfront between Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas - they are mostly there to gawp at the nudes. I have swum, walked and sunbathed naked in full view several times, sometimes outside the signposted nude area.

  I have read on another board than Gran Canaria is generally tolerant of nudity, even in areas that are not clothing optional, especially away from the cities.

  That is my experience on all the Spanish islands which I have visited. Any beach outside town centres (and sometimes within them) can be OK, especially in the morning before breakfast for an early nude swim.

  Yes done the walk on Maspolomas beach. But it's also worthwhile, when walking in the surf, to deviate occasionally amongst the dunes. You might strike it lucky and come across a very accommodating couple!
