  I went a few years ago. It's quite nice but there were only a few days when it is compulsoy nude, the problem is that a lot of people 'cheat' and wear costumes under their towels - it may have changed. I go to Elixir of life which is much smaller but does have fully nude staff, Rio's are only topless!

  Spent 3.5 hours at Rio's Spa (North London) on Friday. Chatted to several people, saw a few things. Most enjoyable. The spa is naturist only after 6pm but is c/o from noon to 6pm and many (mostly women and Arabic looking men) use it in swimsuits or bikini's.
  
  At £21 for as long as you like it's a total bargain, especially for London!
  
  First off, my main reason for going is to chill out and get my winter naturism fix. I was in London for work hence a visit to Rios over my local naturist Spa in Brighton. The female staff at Rios work topless and the three on duty were all eye candy. There were plenty of people there and by the time I left at 6pm it was VERY busy (hence my decision to go).
  
  It was about 65/35 % male/female guests there. Of those females about 1/3rd were nude, 1/3rd topless and 1/3rd in swimsuits.
  
  At one point I chatted to a black woman of late 30's early 40's who wore a stripey modest one-piece for about 10 mins whilst in shower area. She started to talk to me about the facilities and I eventually asked why she didn't go naked. She just said she wasn't confident enough. She wasn't thin but not fat either, just normal for a woman of that age.
  
  It became a bit too busy by 5:30pm (obvious I guess) for me so left. The people there were friendly and chatty. I didn't like that music was pumped out all over the place which was a little distracting whilst chilling. It was fairly fast paced 'pop' music. There was also this old chap (looked to be in his mid to late 70's) who was a real 'lookie-loo'. He would open doors see who was in then leave; unless of course there was a single women in there then he'd come in for 5 minutes.
  
  I used all 3 steam rooms, both saunas, all three Jacuzzi and had a swim in the pool. I used the lounge to watch some tennis and left feeling totally chilled and satisfied.
  
  Would I recommend it......? Yes, definitely. There were a few negative things but that is always the way at naturist venues and it's water off a ducks back for most of us I guess.

  I'm planning to go to rios on tuesday evening. I've been there a few time. often on Thursdays. always good atmosphere.

  The biggest negative for me about Rio's is that the Jacuzzi are not hot enough. The bubbles have a chill in them. Perhaps they heat up as the day goes into night but HEAT would be nice.

  Report from my visit this week. My 3rd visit since November 2015.
  
  Was at Rio's again today a planned and had another enjoyable afternoon. Not as busy as other times I have been but plenty to things interesting. Arrived about 12:30 and it was very quiet so I had a steam, sauna and a swim which, by 1pm, had a lot more people in. This included two oriental women who seemed to enjoy a chat. I came across them when swimming in the small pool. It's fairly cold and they squealed when they got in having come from one of the saunas. Both wore bikini, one about 40-45, slightly chubby but not fat, the other about 20 and similar figure (I later found out they lived in the same building but not related). We chatted and swam for a bit and they told me it was the younger ones first visit, the other claiming to be a regular.
  
  After I got out the younger one stated it clearly was cold in the pool, pointing out how my balls had gone in search of warmth and they both had a giggle and kept up the chit chat. I slowly dried off and continued the chat for a couple of minutes then went to the shower to warm up. There are 2 shower heads in this shower (smaller of the 2) and as I showered the older one joined me under the other shower head and we showered together for a bit. I asked why she kept her suit on and her simple reply was, "Because I can!"
  
  I left for a steam and in that room were a couple, both late 40's and single black woman of 25-30. She was wearing a stringy bikini swimsuit thing. She was desperate to talk to me in between her moaning. I say moaning as I think a blind person would assume she was having great sex. She ooh'd and arghed as the steam thickened and the other couple were laughing at her. This is the hottest of the 3 steam rooms. The black woman continued to moan as we chatted and the couple and I were giving telling looks at her unusual noises. The room got ruined by 2 old men came in looked about and left or came in, sat for a minute then left and ruined the good stem that had built up. The chat with the black girl, which had been about where we lived, why she kept a swimsuit on and how often we came to Rios came to an end as I was nearing my limit heat wise so excused myself.
  I had another swim etc. and then spent time in the Jacuzzi with a mixed crowd. I got chatting with two women, one black in a swimsuit the other white nude who was also nice and chatty and swore like a trooper. Both watched me as I climbed in and I teased them about it which got us chatting.
  Soon after a woman who came in on her own came in with us. Again nude and stated she was there for Big Black Cock! I did point out it was a spa not a gigolo venue She swooned over to two muscled black guys. One was big, the other enormous (if you get my meaning). The enormous one never wore his towel and flopped about the place all day. She went off to a private room with both, about an hour apart.
  Later a pretty but big black girl, early twenties and her man, also early twenties. Both wore swimwear and I shared time with them but they didn't want to chat. After they went to spend time in a 'private' room in the rest area he showered naked but put his trunks back on after (odd thing as he was well above average). He went for a massage after so I got 30 mins in the sauna with the girl. I found out it was her first time and wasn't going naked as she was very self conscious about her weight and "flab". She had a very pretty face and lovely skin, which I pointed out, but she said she would be in her suit all the time. We chatted about things until he came back and she left.
  I watched a woman get a massage in the steam room he put a wet towel over the light so it was darker in there which was silly so I left, also because there was a man using the dark to have a sly wank.
  I then got more time in the steam room with the two oriental girls from earlier. When I stepped in there was a black guy oiling up his whole body and they were watching (the guy with the big one, not the massive one). They seemed unphased by this and I played it cool for 5 mins then I too started to get hard so covered up but, following another person looking in and leaving which let out the thick mist, I noticed the black guy using two hands to give a show they were enjoying (I think) both were still in their bikini. The naked women (he hadn't taken her for some private time yet) then came in and after 3 mins they left together. I had moved to allow her to sit and was now nearer the women and I ended up asking if they minded him taking care of himself and annoyingly both said it wasn't a good but the didn't like to cause a fuss! Perhaps I should have?
  Other things happened too. A black couple, she super fit, he buff and muscular came into a different steam room with me. Both wore swimwear and started doing yoga or tai chi type moves which was distracting so I left.
  Next I relaxed for half an hour in the lounge with my iPad.
  Lastly I ended up alone in a steam room alone and was due to leave soon so wanted peace when the door opened. It was the woman who'd been getting the massage. She was now wearing a green one piece and started to chat to me about how many naked men she had seen of all shapes and sizes. After the final steam and shower I left for clean towel and went home. (This is an abridged version of events) Most unusual time at Rios' ever!
  Did leave relaxed, chilled and ready to face the world. Just strange how many women using Rios' choose not to strip off in what is really a naturist venue. I think they seem to be there to see naked men. The worm has turned?

  Rios has had a fire, It's closed at the moment and may not be open again until 2017!

  The website had previously posted re-opening dates but they have both been passed and the website is now more vague.
